Cake Balls Recipe - Delicious Red Velvet Dipped in Chocolate
Yields 36 balls.
Ingredients:
1 (18.25oz.) pkg. cake mix, flavor of your choice Ingredients needed to make cake
2 cups prepared frosting, flavor of your choice
3 oz. piece of white or chocolate confectioners coating
Preparation Directions:
~ Prepare cake mix according to pkg. instructions using any recommended pan sizes. When cake is done cool for 30 minutes. Crumble cake into a large bowl while still slightly warm. Stir in frosting until well blended.
~ Melt candy coating in a glass bowl in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
~ Use a small scoop to form balls of the cake mixture, dip the balls into the candy coating. Place on waxed paper to set.
~ Decorate the tops if desired.
